Founded in 1830, the RGS has funded some of Britain&#8217;s most intrepid explorers\u00a0including Darwin,\u00a0Livingstone, Stanley, Scott, Shackleton\u00a0and Hillary, so it was an honour to speak there, alongside <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nomadstravel.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tony Howard<\/a> who with his partner Di Taylor developed adventure tourism in Jordan.
